DRESS STANDARDS § Individuals must be neat with respect to personal appearance and grooming. § Only tailored golf slacks (which includes capri pants for females), golf shirts with collars and sleeves (ladies’ golf shirts must have a collar and/or sleeves), and tailored golf shorts (cut to a length no higher than approximately 4 inches above the knee, and not extending below the knee) are acceptable. § Shirts must be tucked in at the waist.§ Hats / visors must be worn properly, with the brim forward.§ Males shall remove hats / visors indoors at the host facilities.§ The competitor or their caddie is not permitted to wear traditional metal or ceramic tipped spikes. Golf shoes with alternative spikeless soles (eg; softspikes ®), golf teaching shoes, sneakers or other soft soled shoes that will not penetrate or damage a soft putting green are permitted.§ Unacceptable dress includes blue jeans, cut-offs, denim shorts, athletic shorts, jammers, warm up or sweat pants, muscle shirts, T-shirts, tank tops, shirts or pants that are rolled up, etc.§ No commercial logos, trademarks, numbers, or offensive wording is acceptable, except that of golf clubs or golf manufacturers or other organizations that are deemed acceptable by Alberta Golf.§ Should a host facility have a stricter dress code, its policy will apply. |
